The swappable battery for eMotorcycle is a proven concept by Taiwanese bike manufacturer #gogoro , it simply make sense especially for lightweight sharing vehicles to reduce infrastructure investments, inatallation efforts and operation costs. What’s new is this is now standard by major bike makers together. I hope Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean companies join #SwappableBatteriesConsortium. Esp in China, damped zinc battery is already a huge issue... And I wish non-motorcycle use cases will find ways with these batteries. It’s a great size to power mobile office equipments, for instance.

ブレーキ業界で2008年から8年働いた上でコメントさせて頂きます。 - 日本市場と北米市場で曙以上に信頼されているブレーキパッドメーカーはなかった - ブレーキパッドの製造プロセスは工場内の温度湿度管理などで、本業がやってる人もコントロールしきれない化学製品。 -JD Powerの初期品質調査でも、車の騒音などで問題があればメーカーはすごく気にしますので、ブレーキパッドは完成車メーカーの受け入れチェックだけでなく、市場のフィードバックも多数受けているもの 詳細わからないけれど、完成車メーカーが大丈夫とコメント出せるのだから出荷済みの部品の品質に問題はないと思う。 けれど、検査工程で不正を許すのは大変な問題。 再生を請け負った宮地社長をは競合のTMD, Tier1のボッシュで業界を知り尽くしている方、他にも有能な外部人材を取り入れているなので、今後の改善に期待できるとも思います。 しかし、ブレーキ(足回り)は日立がCBIと日信を吸収して(個人的には日立は自動車産業からそのうち離れると予想してました…)市場シェアが高くなり、再建中の曙、回生協調ブレーキの先行をいかせなかったアドヴィクスがドイツ3メガサプライヤーと韓国マンドとヒュンダイモービスにどう挑むのか… ZFにブレーキ事業を売却してVeoneerは撤退、集約は今後も進むはず。

Semiconductor production tech of Nikon suffers with Intel, the main customer of Nikon in this business field. I would imagine, if Apple buys Nikon to strengthen its camera R&D for optical design while Apple software competence adds value to the standalone camera, it would be a great combination. And the semicon business could be span off with increased capital to make Japan or the US to strengthen chip production vs Taiwan and China, which poses a huge geopolitical challenge in the 21st century due to the CCP’s One China Policy. Nikon has great human and tech assets, but the management failed to make use of them to a full extent, I hope a new management arrives in one way or another, to make a positive change. Digital contract should be possible within 5 minutes only with a cell phone connected to mobile network, without any store or visiting complicated internet site of different operators. Contracting process need to be standardized, we should be able to read contracts in a common format per important service like mobile phone contract, electricity, water, on the global level.
