アライアンス強化で合意
と言っても、日仏の思惑は違いますよね。The Alliance among Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi that Mr. Ghosn has endeavoured to figure out and put in practice seems to be a yet confusing concept for many.
It certainly is not an established business concept. Its definition could not be found anywhere.
However, it is obvious it at least has never aimed a conventional merger or consolidation, as such. It was something unique and unexperienced and must be understood to be evolving while running, facing up to changing problems.
Legally, I find it quite similar to the Regulated Company in 16th-17th centuries, where each member as a constituency of the Company kept its independence and was engaged in its own trading business on its account and responsibility, subject to certain regulations of the Company.
I am of the opinion that what Mr. Ghosn tried to create is exactly what the Regulated Company once brought about prior to a modern limited company by shares which became prevailing later.
