  Saying Germany is totally controlled by Russia is as false and unfair as saying the U.S. is totally controlled by Russia (no matter how strange the Trump-Putin relationship is). NATO was the one that didn’t do anything when Russia invaded Georgia. NATO was the one that didn’t do anything when Russia invaded Ukraine. And NATO was the one that didn’t do anything when Russia intervened in the Brexit referendum and U.S. and French elections. You can’t just blame the Germans for this.
